Anyone Launching From Sussex Marine must be in possession of an RYA PWC recognised qualification;
From January 1st 2022
Anyone Launching From Sussex Marine or any other launch site within Shoreham Port Auth, will be required. To follow the New Rules set out by ShotPort Auth.
The Master of a PWC must be: (you the jetskier)
(a) at least 16 years old; and
(b) in possession of an RYA PWC recognised qualification;
(c) hold third party liability insurance of at least £2 million.
For those of you who have not taken the PWC course, we would recommend that you book yourself on a course ASAP as we will not be able to launch you without it.

INSURANCE & LAUNCHING (UPDATED JAN 2020)
All Craft Will need Insurance, Prior to launch you will be asked to fill out our launching form where you will sign that you have insurance. Once you are ready to launch, All Skis will be launched by our launch vehicle. (You will need to take your ski off/on your trailer. Sussex Marine Watersports accept no liability for damage to your ski and trailer when launching..
NOTE:
1) ALL CRAFT WILL REQUIRE INSURANCE FOR LAUNCHING, NO INSURANCE THEN NO LAUNCH, (WE WILL REQUIRE A COPY OF YOUR INSURANCE POLICY.
2) IF YOUR CRAFT IS STORED WITH US, (EITHER FOR STORAGE OR BOOKED IN TO OUR WORKSHOP) YOU WILL ALSO REQUIRE INSURANCE, SUSSEX MARINE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY THEFT OR LOSS OF YOUR CRAFT.
